TIEK BYDAY's approach to architecture, interior architecture and interior design offers clients a holistic product that is built upon the synergies of our collaborative process. From drawings, to project management, to furnishings specification and procurement, we are uniquely positioned to provide a turn-key service for busy professionals and business owners looking for a singular team to oversee their design process. We also offer custom-tailored approaches for clients that need only architectural or interior design services.
We look at environments holistically — how does the client want to feel, how will a space be used, what epic events will be thrown here — and then create experiences through architecture and interiors, bringing the vision to life.

Our Process
DISCOVER
Our approach on every project begins with a deep dive into what motivates the client to engage in the design process. We learn about them, their desires, their needs, their constraints, before beginning to do the first sketch. Then we research the site, the surrounding environment, the brand, to learn how desires and function will meld with the context of the space and its surroundings.
DESIGN
Research in hand, our multidisciplinary team begins with design charrettes where the ideas flow freely and conceptual visions are born. Once a vision is established, the real work of design begins. With a budget and a vision to guide, the team executes complete drawings and furnishings packages that are delivered to the client over the scheduled time frame.
DELIVER
Details matter during this crucial time and we diligently manage this process with the contractors and craftsmen in order to ensure the design integrity is realized.
Coinciding with the architectural design and construction, our team brings the spaces to life with the procurement of all furnishings, art and decorative objects that complete a space. Managing the logistics and installation of the myriad of items is part of our holistic approach that leaves the client with a completed space.

What services does your studio provide?

TIEK BYDAY is a full service architecture and interior design studio. From the complete building envelope to the last accessory, every detail is designed. Our construction drawings are based upon 3D models so that all spaces can be visualized during the design process.
Our design services include: Programming, Space Planning, Conceptual Renderings, Furniture Planning and Specifications, Full Construction Documents, Custom Millwork Design, Custom Furniture Design, Project Management, Construction Administration, Historic Tax Credit Coordination, Master Planning, and FF&E Procurement & Installation.
How do you determine fees for servies?

Each project is unique, and we take a couple of different approaches. For larger construction projects, we charge a fee based on a percentage of the construction costs combined with the costs of FF&E. For projects with a smaller scope, we charge a flat fee based on a defined scope of work. Hourly rates are only used for Services that are added outside of the original scope.
How does your design process begin?

Upon inquiry, we offer a complimentary consultation call followed by a brief design questionnaire to determine if we are a good fit for each other. If we are, and you still need more time to explore what services you need, we offer a paid on-site 2-hour consultation to help you develop the overall scope of your project. After that, we will send you a detailed design proposal with our pricing and services. Once we have a signed contract, we will present you with a schedule for your project.
When should I engage you for architectural or interior design services?

We encourage clients to begin engaging design professionals early in their exploration of new construction or renovation. For complete architectural and interior design, the design process takes a minimum of six months or longer, depending on the scope of your project. For interior design services only, you should engage us at the same time you select your architect for the most seamless results.
